The Legendary Volkswagen Golf is Now More Versatile Than Ever

With several models and configurations available, the 2019 Volkswagen Golf lineup delivers any number of driving experiences. From the hyper-practical Alltrack and SportWagen to the sporty GTI and Golf R, there are plenty of ways for Warner Robins drivers to approach the VW Golf. At Volkswagen we are excited about all the possibilities available with the 2019 Golf lineup, and we're happy to show you what each has to offer.

The Golf

The standard VW Golf presents drivers with a satisfying 147-horsepower turbocharged engine and practical, hatchback design that gives you extra cargo space in a fun, compact package. With a panoramic sunroof, LED headlights and taillights, and a driver-centric interior, this Golf is an excellent blend of fun and functionality.

Golf SportWagen

Similar to the Alltrack, this stretched Golf gives you more cargo space for equipment, but with no all-wheel drive you retain your 37 mpg for ultimate efficiency.

Golf Alltrack

This wagon-style Volkswagen Golf adds practicality in more ways than one. With the extended rear cargo area you have more room for your adventure gear, and the all-wheel drive performance means you can venture off the beaten path with confidence.

Golf R

The Golf R takes everything that the Golf GTI does and steps it up that one extra notch. With 288 horespower and 280 pound-feet of torque coming from the turbocharged engine, and adaptive chassis control with 4MOTION all-wheel drive, this ultimate performance hatchback is designed as much for the track as it is for the road.

Golf GTI

The ever-popular Golf GTI sits in a perfect space where sporty performance and everyday practicality meet. With a sport-tuned suspension, 228-horespower turbocharged engine underfoot, and selectable drive modes, this hot hatchback delivers surprising performance in more ways than one.

Volkswagen Golf Trim Levels

The Volkswagen Golf is one of the most popular vehicles in the Volkswagen lineup. This year, the Golf is available in two trim levels. Here is a look at what you will find on each trim level of the new Volkswagen Golf.

VW Golf S

The entry-level S trim offers a long list of standard exterior, interior, convenience, and safety features that are especially impressive because of the affordable starting price of this new hatchback. These standard features include:

  • A 1.4-liter turbo engine with 147 horsepower, 184 pound-feet of torque, and up to 37 mpg highway
  • The Blind Spot Monitoring system means that the Volkswagen Golf will be able to detect oncoming traffic in the vehicle's blind spot.
  • Automatic Headlights will turn themselves on when the Volkswagen Golf senses low-light situations
  • The Forward Collison Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking systems of Front Assist help drivers when objects stop suddenly or cut in front of them
  • A 6.5-inch screen for the infotainment system makes it easy to use programs such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the Volkswagen Golf
  • The Rear Camera System will also display on that screen so that you can see more when backing up

VW Golf SE

The Volkswagen Golf SE trim comes with the features of the base model along with some upgrades, including:

  • An 8-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system, offering more room for maps and music playlists
  • For style, the SE trim adds 16-inch alloy wheels that give the hatchback a more premium look
  • Inside, the Volkswagen Golf SE also adds more premium materials, which includes leather wrapping for the steering wheel and gearshift knob, which you'll notice when getting the most of the thrilling performance
  • Feature additions to this trim level include an expansive panoramic sunroof and keyless access so that you aren't fiddling around with your keys

You can't go wrong when choosing a new Volkswagen Golf trim, but if you have more questions about the differences between them or options, our team is ready to help you!
